yeah that's what got me to switch to Vonage, previously using BellSouth I knew I didn't use the phone all that much but I was paying $40+/mo for basic local service with no features, no area calling and no long distance plan. I'm on the Basic 500 plan and I have only pushed the limit once sofar (497 minutes). Most months I come in at under 350 minutes.
