SAN JOSE, CA – September 20, 2004 – In a move certain to advance the availability and acceptance of its state of the art technology, Sipura Technology announced today that it has licensed internally developed hardware and software technology to Linksys, a division of Cisco Systems, Inc. to be incorporated in consumer and SOHO networking gear. United States based broadband phone company Vonage is immediately supporting the Linksys devices for their residential and business subscribers.

The first devices to hit the market are a standalone analog telephone adapter (ATA) and two broadband routers with integrated voice capability.
