Happy New Vonage User

I switched to Vonage about 2 weeks ago. I did research before switching and found that my current cable modem was too old so I bought a new one on ebay (cost $20). Ordered the vonage router, received in 3 days, hooked up and was working great. Had my current phone number ported, that took 5 days. Hooked the vonage up to my house wiring (after disconnecting the outside phone line). Have vonage all over the house.
I have a cell phone so that I don't really use the land based phone. My company was charging me $40 a month just to have the phone. If my figuring is correct, with taxes, I will be saving approximately $18/month with the 500 minute plan. So far the service has been SUPER!!!!!!. All the free extras that had to be paid for before with my other company. The money savings alone are worth the cost.
