Vonage Customer Review: One month with Vonage, and...

I've had Vonage for one month, and the bill came due.

$24.99 unlimited, $4.99 Toll-free, $2.97 extra fees, etc.

Total= $32.95

Am I happy? Did I get what I paid for?

Yes to both. I know the limitations of VoIP technology. And the ins/outs of networking/internet protocols, etc, along with why I can get choppy calls, dropped calls, etc. (Thankfully, I've had very little to none of these issues, so I'm not disappointed at all).

And for the money, you can't beat it. My telco starts at $42/mo, and that with no LD, no call waiting, caller ID, etc, and the local radio station always playing in the background (Tower is too close, and the RF bleeds all over. You ought to see my TV cable on channel 15. On second thought, you can't see it, but the radio station comes in loud and clear). With Vonage, the sound is clear and quiet.

So, keep it up, Vonage!

This is a affordable service and is good until you have problems and have to get technical support. If you want to talk to the managers then that is impossible. If you need your phone going then you better have a company that is reliable and will help fix the problem in a hurry. My phone has been down over 3 days now and they are still working on the problem. I use this phone for business and the one rep told me that I don''t matter anymore than a little old lady in Tennesses that uses her phone one day a month. I wanted to speak to his higher boss and I havn''t had a call yet. The phone is good until you need help. They make you feel like they are doing you a favor. I know they won''t post this comment but I hope someone will get it and get my phone working.
