Vonage VoIP Forum Digest

May 10, 2006

By Daniel Connor

Welcome to today's edition of the Vonage VoIP Forum Digest.

First, some good news. Yesterday at about 10:15 a.m. Eastern Time, we picked up our 22 millionth page view since we started the Vonage Forum back in March, 2003. It took us less than three weeks to go from 21 to 22 million. Let's shoot for 23 million!

In the news, we'll read the text of a voice mail and email Vonage has sent many of its customers about its Directed Share Program offering of an opportunity to buy Vonage common stock.  We'll also look at  two Vonage Forum threads, one about router reconfiguration and how it solved some call problems, the other about router configuration options.

Vonage VoIP Forum Digest

May 9, 2006

Welcome to today's edition of the Vonage VoIP Forum Digest.

Today we are publishing a very special edition of the Digest. We're going to have lots of details from the Vonage IPO Prospectus. I do this because as many of you already know, Vonage yesterday announced the launch of a Directed Share Program as part of its proposed initial public offering (IPO) of common stock, which will allow eligible customers to purchase shares at the IPO price. In fact, since we first posted this news yesterday, the press release that we posted has received well over 2,000 reads.

First, let us go to the basic facts:

To be eligible to purchase common stock at the IPO price in the Vonage IPO, customers must meet strict eligibility criteria. Vonage customers may be eligible to participate if they meet all of the following criteria: -- they opened accounts with Vonage America on or prior to December 15, 2005, and -- maintained their accounts in good standing through February 1, 2006, and -- are a U.S. citizen, and -- reside in the U.S. when the offering closes, and -- have a valid social security number.

I should also point out that we have a Vonage Forum thread already set up to discuss the subject. It's called The Vonage IPO Thread.

Now, let us get into the meat of what this Vonage Directed Share Program is about.
