Vonage America Inc. a subsidiary of Vonage Holdings Corp. (NYSE: VG), a leading broadband telephony provider, today announced that its customers can now dial 811 from their Vonage phones, at no charge, to find out whether it is safe to dig in certain areas. Vonage subscribers, who are adding an addition to their home, installing a new pool, or digging any type of ditch, can dial 811 and be connected to one call center, which will assist in their efforts to dig safely.

"Vonage is pleased to offer its customers the convenience of 811 dialing to help ensure their excavation will be safe," stated Michael Tribolet, president of Vonage America Inc. "This is just another example of Vonage answering its customer's needs."

First, I would like to tell you about some really great news. The Vonage Forum is 35,000 Members strong!!

This happened late yesterday morning, when frolman  completed the free and quick Vonage Forum registration process, and became our 35,000th Member. Welcome frolman! We look forward to reading your posts!

And speaking of all you 35,000 Vonage Forum Members, you keep me busy. Busy enough that I didn't notice that I made my 2,000th Vonage Forum post yesterday! Hey, though, I ain't complaining. The Vonage Forums not only are my business, and my job. This is fun, and I really feel privileged to offer this service to all of you.

(NYSE: VG - News), a leading broadband telephony provider, today announced that its customers can now dial 511 from their Vonage phones, at no charge, to receive local traffic reports from their area 511 systems.
"Vonage is pleased to offer its customers the convenience of 511 dialing to speed up their commute," stated Michael Tribolet, president of Vonage America Inc. "This is just another example of Vonage answering its customer's needs."

When subscribers dial 511, their call is routed from Vonage's network to their local 511 Advanced Traveler Information Service (ATIS). 511 calls are routed locally based upon the address the customer registered for their 911 service.
