Vonage Expands Area Code Selection in Alabama |

 Unlimited Local and Long Distance Calling Comes to Birmingham - Alabama's Largest City
HOLMDEL, N.J., Aug. 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Vonage America Inc., a
subsidiary of Vonage Holdings Corp., a leading provider of
broadband phone service, today announced the availability of service in
Alabaster, Bessemer, Birmingham, and Gardendale, Alabama. High-speed
Internet subscribers working and residing near the Appalachian Mountain's
foothills can now take advantage of Vonage's broadband phone service, which
offers unlimited local and long distance calling and popular features like
call waiting, call forwarding and voicemail for one low, flat monthly rate.
Vonage customers in Alabama's largest city can now keep their current
numbers or choose telephone numbers within the popular (205) area code.
"With Vonage's local expansion into the region, UAB students no longer
have to spend time deciding what phone service to use," said Michael

consumers in the Greater Birmingham region broadband telephone service

Over 85% of Vonage U.S. Subscriber Lines Now Have E911 |

Vonage and PSAPs Continue Working Together to Turn Up E911 for Customers Across the U.S.
HOLMDEL, N.J., Aug. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Vonage America Inc., a subsidiary of
Vonage Holdings Corp., a leading
Internet telephony provider, today announced that over 85% of its U.S.
subscriber lines are now equipped with Enhanced 911 (E911) service -- a
feature that automatically associates a physical address with the calling
party's telephone number.
Over the past three months, Vonage has equipped more than 500 locally-run
emergency call centers across the U.S. with E911 -- bringing the total
number of calling centers with emergency 911 service to over 5400.
In June, the FCC gave Vonage, and all Internet-based phone service
companies, 120 days to create an E911 system from scratch, and provide all
of its customers, wherever they are in the U.S., with E911 service. In that
amount of time, Vonage worked closely with local 911 centers, also known as
Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs), across the country to turn on E911
for as many customers as it could. Currently, Vonage continues to test and
turn up new PSAPs which are VoIP-ready every day and will continue to do so
until Vonage customers have access to E911.

Vonage Files S-1 to Register Shares Underlying Its Convertible Notes |
|
|
HOLMDEL, N.J., Aug. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Today, Vonage Holdings
Corp. (the "Company") filed a "shelf" registration statement on Form S-1
pursuant to the registration rights agreement entered into in connection
with its convertible bond offering. This agreement was originally described
in the Company's initial public offering final prospectus on page 128. According to the terms of the registration rights agreement, note holders
may convert their bonds into shares of the Company's common stock at a
conversion price of $14.22. The note holders are subject to a lockup period
that expires on or about November 19, 2006.
The Company also announced that Hugh Panero, Chief Executive Officer of
XM Satellite Radio has resigned from the Vonage Board, effective August 18,
2006, citing the demands of his role at XM for his decision. "Hugh will be
missed on the Board, we wish him well and we thank him for his
contributions," said Jeffrey Citron, Chairman and Chief Strategist, Vonage
Holdings Corp. At this time, the Vonage Board has no plans to fill Mr.
Panero's Board seat.
