Vonage Names Martin Hakim Din Senior Vice President of Vonage Broadband

Vonage Press Releases

HOLMDEL, N.J., March 20, 2007 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX News Network/ -- Vonage today announced it has appointed Martin Hakim Din as Senior Vice President of Vonage Broadband, one of the company's new business lines developed to offer customers both broadband and voice communications services.

Most recently, Martin was responsible for leading Vonage's Technical Regulatory Strategy. Prior to that, Martin led Vonage's record-setting 911 deployment and developed Vonage's LNP solution for a shortened number porting process. Before his tenure with Vonage, Martin held engineering and business development roles at Alcatel and UUNET/MCI. He graduated in 1991 from the College of William and Mary with a B.S. in Physics.

Martin, who joined Vonage in 2004 as Vice President of Standards and Practices, will lead Vonage Broadband's efforts to bundle both high-speed Internet and VoIP phone service for customers who want a unified ordering and billing process without having to create their own package using a la carte services from different providers.

By Daniel Connor

Welcome to today's edition of the Vonage VoIP Forum Digest.

First, I have two announcements.

Late Saturday, we passed 38 million page views since we started the Vonage Forum a little over four years ago. Every time you click on a page here, that's one more page view. So let's see how quickly we can reach 39 million!!!

First, let's learn how you might be able to get some money back from the U.S. federal excise tax collected on Vonage calls.

Let's go straight to a Vonage Forum thread about incoming call issues, and then there's this thread I think we should highlight and it concerns pops and clicks on some Vonage calls. Then we'll update Vonage's stock price.

MISSISSAUGA, ON, March 13, 2007 - Already providing Canadians with one of the most inexpensive calling plans in the industry, Vonage Canada today announced that it has lowered international calling rates to selected countries to just two-cents-per-minute. Customers can now call friends and family in select cities in Argentina, Australia, China, Mexico, Singapore, Israel, Poland and Sweden for just pennies.

"With Vonage, customers can call whoever they want, whenever they want, with absolutely no restrictions."
