Vonage Canada Expands Local Phone Service In 19 Communities In Quebec

Vonage Press ReleasesOVER 700,000 MORE QUEBECERS CAN NOW REPLACE THEIR HOME PHONE SERVICE WITH VONAGE

Mississauga, ON, November 29, 2006 – Vonage Canada today announced that it has expanded the availability of its flat-rate, full-featured phone service into 19 additional communities in Quebec, giving over 700,000 more Quebecers the opportunity to replace their home phone service with Vonage.

Vonage's expansion announcement comes on the heels of a recent survey conducted with Decima Research that found that 56 per cent of Quebecers think bundled packages for Internet, cable television and phone service benefit the service provider more than they benefit the consumer. The survey also revealed that almost half of Quebecers (48 per cent), feel that in order to get a discount on cable, Internet, mobile or home phone services, they must purchase more services than they want from a single company. As well, 51 per cent indicated a willingness to de-bundle their phone service from communication packages in return for better value and more calling features.
