Vonage i live in Alaska and was wondering when they would be adding Alaska area codes.

i live in Alaska and was wondering when they would be adding Alaska area codes. Currently I am using a Seattle (206) area code for my home phone number.

Also, while my phone works great with calling numbers in Washington or the rest of the country, it stinks for calling numbers in Alaska. The call takes like 10 seconds to connect and start ringing. Also once the call is connected the other party will pick up by can't hear me for like 10 or 15 seconds. Then when they can finally hear it it very quiet on their end and on my end it is full of echo and static.

Any help would be appreciated.

One thing I might add. I have no problems with incoming calls from Alaska, its only outgoing calls to Alaska
