i live in mexico and before discovering voip, i was paying mexican monopoly company telmex about 500 dollars per month on long distance calls to the usa.
yesterday at 7pm the problem started, i can place calls, but no one can hear me.
i tried using another dsl account from telmex, and same problem
i changed router, same problem
i tried using a different service provider using a diferent voip adapter, and same thing kept happening
so i am guessing its the dls that has blocked my ability to place calls throught the internet.
this happened once with cable, they did this last year.
since there are no other options for broadband in mexico, just telmex and cable, i was considering using direcway, but i read it doesnt work
what can i do, is there a way to use vonage now that telmex has put a block on it
