let me start from beginning
2 configs that I tried..
1) Vonage as master router and the wireless as slave.....i disabled the dhcp and set the LAN ip to the proper range on the wirless router and connected port 1 of wirless to port 4 of Vonage. things worked well, but only problem was that my bandwidth would decrease like crazy when a person would be on the phone. I even adjusted the bandiwidth thing on account settings, yet no difference..... so then I decided to change roles,
2) i had wireless as master and Vonage as slave..... i first did reset on both routers to defaults, i plugged Vonage internet port into port 4 of wireless...........actually i just got calll from home, its works fine now in this config...........i still have yet to disable dhcp/nat on my Vonage router...........
but do you think that, config 1 is better? if so, what is the resolution to the speed problem...... i have not tested speed program on config 2......
also can you explain this dmz setting you are talkign about...what does that do..... my friend in config 2 has been getting lots of dropped calls....what do you think the probelm is with that...
