how does Vonage offer unlimited int'l calling to countries that charge local landline calls by the minute? I will use country XYZ as an example. If I was calling from a regula landline phone to another landline phone(both in country XYZ), the local landline phone company charges about 3 cents per minute. They do not have the flat rate landline plans like we do in the US. The funny thing is that country XYZ is included in my Vonage Unlimited Plan w/ Basic World This means I can call any landline phone in XYZ and pay nothing at all.... How is this even possibe? The reason this question came up is that I gave my friend in XYZ a call using my Vonage phone... we spoke for almost 4 hours straight and Vonage's price? $0... obviously... but I could not explain to my friend in XYZ how this works.... If we were both in XYZ together, the call would have cost about $7. thanks for any info! :)
