I have Linksys RTP300

I followed the instructions of setup exactly, 3 times, with 2 different phones.

The light on the router for phone line 1 will not light up, and I get no dial tone.

I really dont know what to do, I waited 2 weeks to get this thing and it's not even working. Sad

didn't you have another one sent or something? make sure they have it provisioned (have the correct mac address on file for your account)
and check what it says under status for line1 and 2 at http://192.168.15.1
and the firmware version in the upper right also.

OK, since you waited 2 weeks, I assume you ordered the box from Vonage (?). If this is correct, and even if it's not, you should call customer service at 866 243 4357. Don't bother with Email; Vonage isn't good with Email.

In the meanwhile, tell us about your setup. You have the RTP300. What other equipment do you have? What internet service, what modem, upload and download speeds, and how you've hooked things together are all things we need to know to help. Are you getting internet service through the RTP300? Is it as good as you had without it? What results do you get with a test call to www.testyourvoip.com?

Actually, I hung up on and off about 20 times and the dial tone just started working, thanks though steve, much appreciated.
