Here we go again.
Can't hang up again. Just started yesterday.
And, now I get heavy static in about 1 in 5 calls.
This is really starting to suck.

I have the same problem, when I call and get an answering machine I can't hang up. Also if I hang up before the other person my phone rings me and they are still there.

Are you using conventional phones, or a KSU?

Basildane, what you'll have to do is have a Tier 2 Rep change two fields in the line properties of your RTP300. The two fields are CPC Wait and CPC Duration. Have them lower the value of both of these fields and test. This should solve the problem your having.

All conventional. Doesn't matter which one either.
What's a KSU?

A multi-line telephone system usually includes phones, wire, jacks and other hardware, and a central control unit, which is a specialized computer often called a "KSU" (Key Service Unit). A KSU is usually about the size of a medicine cabinet, and mounts on a wall, and needs a nearby electrical outlet.
The control unit distributes power to the phones, sends dial tone to them from the phone company's incoming lines, makes the phones ring, generates touch-tones, connects phones together for intercom and paging, provides connections for accessories such as music-on-hold players, paging amplifiers, PCs and door intercoms, and contains circuitry for basic phone functions, plus memory for functions and features.

Ya. Reason I asked was, the problem only seems to occur when from the KSU (panasonic kxt616). I plugged in standard phone to test, and didn't have the problem.
Although, seems to be working today...

Thank you for the answer. My phones aren't of that type and I still can't hang up if the other end is still connected.
