Here is my situation. I travel extensively. I have been dragging the Vonage ATA on the road with me. Wired connections work well, but wireless is a crapshoot with an AP also in the bag. I do some tech support while I am on the road, and am thinking about the softphone to augment my regular Vonage service.
1) Is ther any type of USB handset one would recomend for use with the softphone? I would go with a headset, but hate wearing them for long periods of time. Plus I like the idea of having a real keypad to dial the numbers with.

Are you saying that this phone will work as a Vonage softphone? It appears to be specifically designed for a different Voip provider.

The phone is the CyberphoneK. It can cost twice as much, depending on the retailer. The cheapest happened to be branded and sold by another provider.
I use mine at home, running Vonage softphone on SJLabs software.
I prefer dialing from the software, but IIRC, the OP asked for a keypad to dial, which this phone has. I suspect he will also prefer the on screen dialer because of the phone book.
