I am still having problems with my outbound audio. Whenever I make a call, my audio is very choppy and almost unintelligible. However, if someone calls me, it's ususally OK, but there have been a few times when even that was bad. I have Comcast in the Baltimore/Washington area for my ISP. I recently upgraded to their 8M/768K service to see if it would improve things. It did for a week, but then went back to the same problems as before. I have spoken with Comcast and Vonage NUMEROUS times and frankly I'm almost getting to the point of giving up on this whole thing. Yesterday I started looking at going back to Verizon (even though I really don't want to). Vonage says I have a high latency problem. My ping times can go as high as 200ms at times, however, they avg anywhere from 40 to 90ms. The ping times also fluctuate. There are times when they're real low and other times when they're real high. I'm starting to wonder if someone in my neighborhood is really hogging down the subnet or if there's just something wrong either with my cable modem, the cable line, or the Vonage box.

If you have Comcast and you live in Maryland and you use Vonage, can you please share how your quality has been lately. I've been having this problem for the past month now. Also, I'm using the RTP-300. And before anyone asks, changing my bandwidth saver doesn't help and besides, I've always used it at 90K since day one without any problems until just recently. Thanks.

I use Comcast in Richmond, VA but my traffic goes through DC to get passed onto Globix. I haven't had any problems with voice quality. Hopefully this can help focus your problem.

Yes, but Comcast and TWC are hooking up to offer new services as part of a joint venture.
