Yup, my WRTP54G is now running .58, the push happened overnight or sometime this morning. We'll see what happens (shudder).

I got 58 on my RTP300 last weekend. As of now, no flashing light or stutter tone when a voicemail is available. Never had any problem before now.

hahahaaaa, back at work after a hectic weekend, so what are finding? I am seeing a lot of calls where the customer can call out but calls in are problematic. If you just started seeing this and you just got version 58, let me know.

Just sent you a PM, but for the benefit of others...

WRTP54G, upgraded this morning to .58. Have not rebooted adapter yet, just in case you need it left up for diagnosis.

When I receive a call, the sound is horrid. It starts with a nasty, scratchy, loud BEEP! then the hiss is, well, bad. Really bad.

However, in my LIMITED testing, I have found that answering the call *after* the caller ID pops makes for a clean answer and crystal-clear audio. I can even hear the hiss introduced by the Cisco Voip phone system on the other end (I've always been able to hear that, but with the answer-before-callerID-display calls today, no chance).. Wink

However, the audio is still unbelievably loud. I tried calling CS last week to have it lowered a bit, since I can't use my speakerphone hardly at all even with the speakerphone volume turned almost off, but after waiting 15 min for a CS agent, I figured I'd see if they changed the default on the .58 release. Guess not.

So far CID, stutter dialtone, and voice mail work.

Yup. I'm on .58 as well. Haven't tried voicemail out yet - I don't get a lot of voicemails anyway. CID's worked solid, but it also worked fine for the last week after someone in CS twiddled with my router.

Other than the problem I listed above (really horrid noise if you answer the phone before the caller ID displays), it seems to be a pretty solid release. So far. Wink

Add me to the scratchy audio on incoming calls answered before the second ring list as well! If I let it ring twice, I'm back to the usual crystal clear audio I'm used to. No problems on outgoing calls.

At least this one's got a workaround - wait until CallerID pops, then answer. And, heck, caller ID is working now, so it CAN pop.

Gonna be tough for me to not answer on the first ring. Especially when someone has just IM'ed me and I know they are calling. But I can live with it, because at least everything appears to work...

Can't speak to the voice mail stutter. I don't get a lot of voice mail.

I'm going to check this evening and see if I got this. No complaints from the wife as yet, and she would be the first to notice. The "answer before CID" problem isn't likely to bother us, as we pretty much *always* check to see who's calling.
