A positive porting experience!!

Well, I'm a newbie here, but still thought I should comment on a positive porting experience.

I started the process on 11/24/05 from the Vonage web site, and as of today 12/08/05 my number was successfully ported from Verizon. I used all 500 minutes of my plan during the first month with absolutely NO problems or complaints from either end of the conversation. And all of this using the refurbed Moto device. Maybe I'm just the lucky one!!

Nice to finally cut the landline.

Same pleasant experience here. Started the process on 11/10 and my number was ported on 12/2 without a problem. No complaints so far...not even from my sceptical wife.

Same positive experience here porting from Verizon in Philly area:

November 19, 2005 Awaiting Letter of Authorization
November 19, 2005 Letter of Authorization (LOA) Received
November 19, 2005 Transfer Sent to Carrier
December 9, 2005 Carrier Approved Transfer
Scheduled transfer date Dec 12.

I hope I don't jinx myself and have all sorts of problems on the 12th, but I feel confident it will all go well.
