Could you share with me the changes you asked the support to modify? Mine still not working and they have changed my port SIP port a few times.

Softphone does not work at all. All attempts to use Softphone gets a "login timed out! Contact Network Admin."
On a PAP2 adapter, I can only get a decent connection if some calls me. If I try to call out, the connection is horrible. I've been tempted to switch over to the RTP200-VD I have, but I don't want to go to the bother if it doesn't solve the problem.
Another, software based
VoIP
owned by an auction company does work quite well, so I'm suspecting it's a port I need to reroute. Anyone have any ideas??
http://www.testyour
voip
.com/ says that "Your computer couldn't call our location on the standard SIP port (5060). Generally, this failure is caused by a firewall blocking our calls."
A side note, they're also blocking voice and video chat on AIM / iChat. Yahoo video is still good though

Hello once again. I recently sent an email to
Vonage
's tech support and explained my situation. The next morning I had a phone connectivity light and dial tone. The calls can be very choppy at times but the service has returned. I have no idea what the tech support did but it worked.
Thanks
Vonage

I too got the connectivity after talking to
vonage
. That is what I had informed earlier. But I could not have a decent call till now either to Canada or US. I can hear them crystal clear but they cannot hear me. Some say bearly audible because of the noise. It appears the outgoing packets are choked and noise is introduced to have a bad connection. But I know for sure that there are some soft phones which are working very well with good clarity. May be
vonage
need to do something on the port allocation.

I need a volunteer to test a VPN re-routing. Here is my requirement, please let me know if you like to help:
1. Have a broadband internet in the US, with a Linksys router after the DSL/Cable modem
2. Have a Linksys DSL modem here in Doha ( I live in Doha )
3. There is a person who is willing to follow technical instructions at the US side.
if you are eager to try it, but have different equipment, you can buy the DSL router Linksys Wireless-G ADSL Gateway WAG54G in Doha (QR500), and buy
Linksys RV042
($170) in the US.
I choose this hardware set because it have the VPN option built it.

moeed, I live in the same area (old Airport, behind Shop Rite) but my
vonage
is not working. My Linksys router does not have two blinking lights. I can call any one but the sound quality is terrible.
