Post subject: Incoming callers getting fast busy
For a business line this is horrible. People tell us they get it often and have to try 3-4 times before getting through.
Anything we can do?

Can you duplicate this problem? Are people dialing 11 digits or 7? Is the number involved with LNP? Do you have house wiring connected to your
Vonage
device?

Post subject: Able to duplicate problem with call from cell
Yes, I've tried to call in and got the busy signal. At the time, I thought someone was using all lines (but then it should have gone to VM).
People are dialing 11 digits (646 number -- in NY we have to always dial with 11 digits).
Not sure what LNP is...and house wiring? This is a home-base office. We have two
Vonage
lines and 3 computers using wireless.

We had a similar problem after we switched to
Vonage
. When my wife would call home from work she would always get a busy signal, even when no one was home. I think it was a fast busy.
She was able to go next door to another business and get through to VM fine. I think it was the LD company their business was using. About 3 weeks later the calls started going through and she hasn't had any problems since..
