Post subject: Problems with callback
Has anyone else been having problems using the 5 feature for auto call back lately?
This used to work for me but now when I get a busy signal and then hit 5, I hear the beep. However once I hang up, I immediately have the phone ring but then I get a dial tone. I can trying calling the number again but it is still busy.
Any suggestions?

Thats because you're using the repeat dialing feature. When a number is busy you can hit the 5 button. Hang up. When the phone number you're trying to call is free,
Vonage
will ring your phone and it will ring.
The auto-call back feature is started by hitting *69. When you miss an incoming call you have the option of hitting *69. This tells you the number of the person who called you and gives you the option of calling them back.
I think this feature is outdated since most phones have caller ID on them already. You can go through your calls logs and call them back this way. Its much easier.
I just tried the repeat dialing feature and the autocall back feature.. Both work great for me..

You're right.. I just tried it again and I got what you were talking about.. I'd definately call
Vonage
and submit a trouble ticket. Its not just you!

I did call email
Vonage
and they said to call to troubleshoot. I just haven't gotten around to it.
