you should have tried disabling and re-enabling your voicemail, saving and loggin out after each operation. This rewrites the XML script that contains your dialplan. The other techs should have tried that first...

Post subject: fast busy and no service after changed phone number
I am experiencing exactly the same problem. Service was great until I requested a changed phone number. When I dial any number including voicemail, I get a fast busy signal. Interestingly, the fast interrupted dial tone that indicates new voicemail was present when I started having this problem. I went to the website and deleted the new voicemails out of my old account and this went away.
I tried disabling and then reenabling the voicemail, as suggested by the previous poster, but this did not solve the problem. Does anyone have any other suggestions?
