I know there's some gamers in here....

I wasn't crazy enough to stand in line for hours and hours... so what's availability after the release date been like? My local Best Buy says next shipment in 2 weeks...

I don't know but I am not going to be purchasing it anytime soon. I will wait a couple months or so for the price to drop.

Prices on the 360 won't be going down at any point in the foreseeable future.

We've been on the hunt for 360's for a while now. The shipments that were slated for mid December and again in January are basically spoken for at all the stores that we've been to. The earliest it looks like someone could get a unit straight from the shelf will be March, possibly April. By then the pre-orders and the regualr demand will have been met. At least that's what we are getting from the stores that carry the 360.

the xbox 360 is way cool.. got one 2 weeks ago a modified one of course. the games are way cheaper although the unitself costs the same. can't wait for Halo 3.......
