Try a different CAT5 to the router and try a different port on the back of the router; like the post that is running to your PC.
I don't believe you ever answered the question:
Is the light on the
Vonage
box working? Flashing? Steady light?

I don't know what a cat5 is
But the light will not come one at all. It is not flashing blinking on anything. I have only seen the light blink with the others when I first turn it on.

cat 5 = ethernet network cable.
Try connecting the
Vonage
device from its WAN port directly into the cable modem. Reset the both of them. See if this simplified setup works.

are u able to go online,what is the ip address on the router page;did u try restoring to factory defaults in the router page?
