I honestly could not believe the response I got from V. after reporting the flaws in SimulRing. What exactly did V. think people were going to use it for?
Sad part is that V just rolled out a less stimulating feature to check local weather and traffic, instead of spending time fixing the features they currently have...

I think some of the issues w/ SimulRing have been worked out in the past few months.
I have 2 homes and I have SimulRing setup so when someone calls my primary house, it will SimulRing to the 2nd home as well. Before, if I were to call my primary house from the 2nd house I would get a "busy" and go straight to voicemail which was VERY annoying if I was trying to reach someone there.
However, a couple months ago I noticed that calls from the 2nd house to the primary house would go through as normal and not immediately get stuck in a loop, so the code has been updated to be more intelligent for SimulRing, although it may not be perfect yet. |
