Dish TV woes

Dish TV says their systems only work with a land line
Anyone having any successes or have a fix at Vonage foe this problem.???

It works great. They just mean no cell phones.

sorry, they responded to my problem, the Dish Receiver not dialing out on Vonage successfully.

Only a wired connection.

What is your set up like? I am using a wire running from the satellite reciever to the Cisco box.

I am running thru a power line type wireless device as no tele connection for hard wire connection type.
Think that might be the problem??

I use my Dish equipment with Vonage, Setup Dish box to have a dialout prefix of *99 and if the option wirless jack is there, check it.

Yes, I have my router set at 90K for QOS and I have comcast standard service on my cable for internet. I had to install two new
phone jacks to provide connections for the receivers. I have the
625 and I forget the other model number at this point, it is just the standard dual receiver I got for my kids rooms.

Both passed on install and I have had no problems with them for 5 months now.
