oaky here's an interesting one. I followed instruction for update to .58. It worked fine. Then, all on its own, my modem reset itself back to .55 |

Yup. Just flashed the 300, she rebooted. looked good and as soon as logged in and clicked a menu the router reset and I was back to 55.
Ten minutes later I did a cold reboot of the router and 58 came back up on the main screen. logged in and she says 55.
Disconnected from the net, cold booted the router, flashed with 58 and reset. The flash held held and was able to navigate. Reconnected to the cable modem and within about ten seconds she reset and came back up with 55...pretty strange. |

for whatever reason, Vonage has your device set for .55. when your device checks in with Vonage, the firmware versions don't match and you're automatically rolled back. |

ColdGin, thanks for the info.
Tried this with my UIP1869 with no success. The /update.html returns a 404 and navigating directly to the ../html/bridgeUpdate.html brings up a blank page.
Any other suggestions? |
