LINKSYS PAP2 "dialplan" settings

Does anyone know how to set up the "dialplan" so that you can call numbers within your own area code as just the 6 digits on the pap2? but then still dial everything else as normal.(Basically the same way you dial from a standard landline) Vonage uses this system of local dialling within your own area code,so does freetalk

Currently the dial plan is (*xx!xx.) I use "!" because can't find the symbol for the line that's used on the keyboard.

Eg: To call 01999-898989 from within 01999 area you just dial 898989

So far I managed to do (*xx!<:01999>xxxxxxS0!<x.>[1-9]xxxxxxxxxxS0!xxxxxxxxxxxx.)

This allows calls within 01999 to be dialled as just the local number ie: 898989 but then when trying to dial anything beginning with 0 it doesn't work and gives out unobtainable tone.

I've also tried: (*xx!<:01999>xxxxxxS0!<0:0044>[1-9]xxxxxxxxxS0!xxxxxxxxxxxx.) but that doesn't work either.

There must be a way to deal with this. Any ideas on the correct dial plan string??

You're not looking for | are you? That's usually the shifted \ key (next to Z).

Yes the "|" is included in my dialplan,I just couldn't see it on the keyboard.

Anyway: (*xx|<:01999>xxxxxxS0|<x.>[1-9]xxxxxxxxxxS0|xxxxxxxxxxxx.)

Allows calls to be made to local numbers beginning 01999 without dialling 01999, but can't dial anything else 01xxxxxx or 07xxxxxx or 0 anything

Sorted it and now it works ok.

If anyone else needs the info it's as follows:

<:01???>[2-9]xxxxxS0|0[1-8]xxxxxxxxxS0|001[2-9]xx[2-9]xxxxxxS0|00[2-9] xxxxx.)

??? = your area code,so it could be 01632,01911 or 020,023 etc etc
