forgot to add I use the 30k option. I nor can callers really tell the difference, so why waste bandwidth on only a 128k line. I now have 3 queues. 1-Low 2-Medium 3-High.

and acks on high, web browsing on medium, and all bulk traffic on low, ftp, mail, etc. So far seems to be working good.

I wonder if this application would run under a vmware machine? Would be nice instead of dedicating another pc to it!

Can't you configure the monowall to just send a voice packet whenever one is in queue? That is what Cisco IOS router do with their Low Latency Queueing. This works very very well. I have set up a number of Cisco
Voip
networks and can vouch for it. This is a very simple QOS approach that really works.
