Here is my story,
November 12, 2003 Awaiting Letter of Authorization
November 12, 2003 Letter of Authorization (LOA) Received
November 24, 2003 Transfer Sent to Carrier
It is now the 20th of December in the year 2003. Verizon has sent me two phone bills for a phone line I have not used since the middle of November. Vonage will not give me credit until my phone number is transferred successfully. They will then see how many business days 20 the transfer has taken and credit me that difference.
Verizon customer service is closed on weekends so that makes it difficult for me to get an answer from Verizon on what is causing the delay for them to release my phone number to Vonage.
Does anyone out there have any advice for me? The holidays are upon us and my relatives, friends and family cannot reach my home number since it has been cut in order to allow my home wiring system to connect through Vonage.
HELP! |

I was ready to move my phone service to Vonage, only to find that I can't transfer my phone number. What a pain!!! The hassle of changing my number isn't worth it. |
