I would plug my computer direct to the modem and use task manager and other tools to make sure there is no unwanted program on your computer doing the bandwidth eating, also, a if you have called Customer Care your device may be on debug which could explain bandwidth issue, although I don't think debug uses that much bandwidth...
ok guys i had a little prob wit my phone not related to Vonage. and them maker of my phone uniden told me that my phone will work wit Vonage for a little while then mess up, and that if i wanted it to work i had to buy the uipi869v uniden phone from Vonage. Does anyone know if this is true?
this is the new Voip phone from Vonage, its like the vtech. u dont need an adapter extra, this acts as an adapter as well as the phone, plus you have wireless handsets, wired phones could be plugged in also u can use fax.

You should be able to use the phone you have now, and if you can't, it may mean that one phone is broken. That still doesn't mean you NEED to buy a new Uniden. Try it with a few phones and see what you get.
