In an effort to keep up with the constant Vonage growth and to handle the peak loads, I have made a rather significant upgrade to the forum servers.
We are now a triple server setup.
Two load balancing dual Xeon 3.2 CPU’s with 4GB Ram each up front, with a dedicated SQL DB dual Xeon 3.2 (also 4GB of Ram) cross connected to the two load balancing servers. All three operating quad SCSI disks (73GB each) and all three operating Free BSD 5.4
Forum Members will not notice a difference during normal operations, but during those times that we have 1000+ people on site, you will not experience a slowdown or any SQL errors.
The most ever online at once that I can recall was 1026: vonage-forum.com/sutra20455.html#20455" target="_blank">http://www.vonage-forum.com/sutra20455.html#20455
Many people reported SQL errors on this site that day, but that will not be the case now.
If you should encounter a bug, please report it here or in the report a bug forum (which does not require you to login, if your issue is related to login).
Enjoy,

We seem to be having a problem with emails, for both notification of a post reply and for new private messages.
We are looking into these issues. |

First, thanks for the upgrade.
I think you are missing an image also:
modules/Forums/templates/bluebyu/images/icon_minipost.gif
I only see that as a broken image since the upgrades. |

I refreshed the browser (FireFox) 10 times but still see it as broken.
However, opened up IE and it's there.
While in IE this website loads pretty fast, REAL fast. In FF it is like being on dial up. Weird.....
Anyway, I guess it is my browser that is stopping it. But, it is all of a sudden since I have seen that image in the past.
Oh well.... thanks and sorry for the false alarm! |

I thank you for your input, what version of FF are you using.
I use: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050915 Firefox/1.0.7 and it seems to work fine, but I would like to know what problems you are having. |

VERY strange... I closed FF and still see a broken image. And it seems to be ONLY that ONE stinking image! Even a right click, View Image takes me to a broken image. Trivial I suppose....
FF is 1.0.7; just upgraded it 2 or 3 days ago.
IE is 7.0.5112, which is working fine.
However, after closing and re-opening FF, the pages seem to be loading allot faster. It almost seems like you really DID upgrade servers |

ahh, FF has cookie issues..., I bet you were pulling your "loged in" cookie from the old server (still up and running), and that was slowing you down.
Still does not explain the pic issue you are having, but I am testing (having a glass of wine) and thinking about it.
Let me know if you still have the issue after you reboot, clear your cache... |
