Seems they can't/won't change it; Americanism is endemic in Vonage UK I'm afraid.
Suggest you let Vonage UK know what you think: mailto:feedbacktous@vonage.co.uk
this isn't an official forum. |

Thats outrageous. How can they offer this service in the UK and use a foreign language; and charge for 0800 support calls; and levy hidden cancellation fees; and not provide me with any answers to my connection problems. My experience is a shambles so far |

Well to be clear about this I'm only repeating what I read somewhere else on this forum about the 0800 calls - my point is only as good as the information I read and looking at my billing information today I guess this is maybe a false alarm (if ti updates in real time) as its not as high as I would have expected had I been paying for the hour or so I spent on the Vonage 0800 no. y'day! |

You don't pay for 0800, you were fed bum info.
Check your Vonage account, you will find you were not charged for your support call. |

Their is not a post on this site that I have not read, all 50K plus of them. I have never heard, not once, of Vonage charging for support. |

They should change the announcement though - I'm getting a little fed up with people telling me that they have not left messages because their phone does not have a 'pound key'. Where the heck does that come from anyway - why call it something that is clearly and internationally already recognised as a completely different symbol? Perhaps we should start calling it the 'dollar key'!! |

They told me 2 months ago they were going to change it - why hasn't this been done - if they are offering a UK service its outrageous they haven't changed this yet! |

Well I get a little annoyed when I call a UK number and they tell me to push the hash button. What the hell is the hash button!??! |
