Post subject: keep having to reset Surfboard SB3100 modem & WRTP54G ro
I keep having to power down both the router and modem due to
not having any abilities to dial in or out (no dialtones).
I called
Vonage
and they had me power down/up and switch the
phone port from one to two. The MOS using the BRIX test for
4.0 to Boston and 4.3 from Boston.
Vonage
speed tests shows
3.92 download and 370kbps. The Router's firmware is 1.00.55
I'm using Time/Warner cable system.
Has anyone else had this similar problem?
Thanks in advance for your inputs.

I don't have to power down my modem... that part is fine but I have to disconnect and reconnect my power to my WRTP54G router each and every evening.
It looses connection every day and it's really starting to drive me up a wall.
Why is this such an unstable router? I'm ready to hook my old Linksys 4port router back up... this just isn't worth the hassle of constant disconnects!
We need someone from Tech Support to weigh in on this problem.

You are having the same issues I had a few days ago - they just replaced my router today. - That's after they screwed up and turned the existing router off early. - LAME
