i could not find any info on this idea in the forums, so here goes:

i am running X-Pro on my PowerBook G4. Is there any way to plug a normal phone in to the modem jack and have it connect to the software to make calls, rather than using a headset or some kind of USB phone?

This would be a great feature, essentially turning my notebook in to a phone adapter - i could plug a hotel phone directly in to the computer and make calls more "naturally"...

Do a search for "rj11 usb adapter" I prefer a usb handset at home (CyberPhoneK awesome digital quality) and a Plantronics boom/earbud on the road.

I am using an Axim X3i -- what model of Plantronics boom/earbud do you use with your Axim?? -- I can't find a model that says it works with the X3 or X3i.
