Location: Clermont, FL
ISP: Roadrunner cable
Speeds: 4Mbps download/304 kbps upload
Modem: ?
Voip: Vtech IP8100-2
Router: D-Link DI-604
Network: RR -> modem -> DI-604 -> IP8100

I'm mostly experiencing the 'call goes through but no one can talk' issue, where, upon dialing a number, I here a) No ringing (nothing), or b) ringing, then nothing. On the other end, they get the call, but hear nothing when they pick it up. Sometimes one end can hear the other, but not vice-versa. Occasionally a call drops.

I've run all the tests and browsed the forums for a while, and from what I can see my line is pretty clean (see below). I've tried restting the IP8100 to factory and rebooting it several times. After a reboot it may work for a while, then the problem comes back.

Any thoughts? There don't seem to be many IP8100 posts. Should I put my IP8100 between my modem and my router? I can't seem to find what sort of settings I may need to change if I do this are.

Have you tried to plug the IP8100 directly to the cablemodem and see what happens? If that works then it must be some sorta router problem and then we can figure it out from there. Also I notice that burried cable lines often go bad after a while. Also I have had my cablemodem replaced 2 times in the 4 years I have had it. And I have had them dig a new line from the road to replace the old one which fixed many issues.
