I've had Vonage for a few days now and have had a few times where there was no dial tone so I had to reboot the router. Now I'm having a problem of when I call someone they can hear me but I cannot hear them. I have to call back, sometimes even a few times before it works.

I have comcast cable and a Linksys WRTP54G router Firmware Version: 1.00.18

Might try downloading the lastest firmware on the linksys.
Nothing to tell you except that I am having the same problem, even with having a version 1.00.52. My speeds are reasonably fast 3+Mg download, 360k upload. I called tech support, he called, and get through. My problem is only on inbound calls. Help anyone?

Found out the problem was the Comcast Modem provided was A DOCSIS 1.0 style, and that Successfull rollout of Voip needs at least a DOCSIS 1.1, but preferably a DOCSIS 2.0. Comcast said they will switch out my modems for free. Best to check the modem to see if (not only its speed), but its compliant with all the new stuff. Good Luck everyone.

I'm glad you found the problem. It would still be helpful to those of us here to see the results of tests at www.testyourvoip.com. If you're up for it, how about a test before and another after you switch modems?

You're right, I did. In any case, I don't see any explanation for your problem in your test call data. How are your upload and download speeds? Have you talked to customer service?
