Right dconner? |
Right: "www.vonage-forum.com is not an official Vonage® website & is independently operated."
I am just an avid Vonage supporter with too much time on his hands here. |

Well there is a relationship with Vonage. You can't use there logo with out permission refer their products with out a kick back.
Is you affiliate ID AID=10397309 or PID=1781511
So the real question does Vonage care about the forum? |

I am Vonage's first affiliate, thats no big secret. And yes, the ads do offset the cost of running this site.
Let's get this back on topic please,
Thank you, |

They need to implement some kind of followup system so a rep can proactively follow up on customer problems instead of waiting for customer contact. When I ported (or tried to), I called many times to the porting dept and always was told that they'd check the status and call me back when the status came in (it never did). There shoudl be a system in place where if the status doesn't come in or the port isn't completed after 30-40 days they send somebody to look into it. |
I'm not sure you can blame Vonage for this. I've been trying to LNP (former Verizon number) from SunRocket to QuantumVoice. The first few LOA's to Global Crossing (the carrier holding my number) came back with "Name Mismatch" failures. I contacted SunRocket management who told Global Crossing to let it go through. QuantumVoice resubmitted and it came back that there are "pending tickets". Finally they got a FOC date for the cutover (yesterday), but it hasn't happened yet. I get the impression that Global Crossing dropped the ball.
My original LNP request went in back in October 2005. 4 months later and I'm still waiting. |

Thanks to the advice about the Sunrocket address in this thread, I was able to complete a port of a Sunrocket-assigned number to Vonage in 13 business days.
Thanks! |
