Have not been able to make DirecTV/Tivo call since Oct 14

Anyone aware of any changes to service on or near that date? I will research all of my info and respost here in the meantime. Thank you.

My last update was 4 October...I tried it tonight (31 Oct) and call is not connecting. Just curious, are you an Adelphia customer?

No, Time Warner RoadRunner. I tried the method described elsewhere in this forum and it worked (using the NY number with ,#034). The other day I could at least dial in to get access numbers but now I couldn't even do that.

I was also running into this problem here is what I did.

I set the call prefix to ,#034 and the call waiting prefix to *70 turned off dial tone detection and line avail detection off. I used my local number it works some times but not all the time

A lot of people recommend *99 in the call prefix but if you have your bandwidth saver set to 90Kbps already that will cause a fast busy and not work.
