YES... I love Vonage.. land lines go down too :O)
Very true. My
Vonage
service was back up about 4 days before the POTS lines here after hurricane Wilma.
Hope you all are OK. She looked real bad down there.

I just noticed something common with most of us with this problem. We are all on Adelphia service. I'm not sure how long I have been down. I just started trying to figure out what was wrong about 1 1/2 hour ago. I still can't get to the
Vonage
website and still no
Voip
connection.
Hmm, that was an odd common factor. I have Adelphia also, but my internet didn't have a problem at all. My
Vonage
is back up and running now though, it came back somewhere between 9:30pm and 12am, because it was off when I left and was back on when I came home. Hope everyone else got their problems resolved.

It was up for me all day that I used it (was travelling from 1pm ET to 3pm ET), otherwise it's been in use.

Wow. Wake up on Saturday morning and find out all the news. I am on Roadrunner (Time Warner) here and never skipped a beat. All services on my system seemed to be fine for me and my family abuses the internet connection, especially the phone.
Isn't it interesting that certain company names sound familiar:
1. Worldcom/MCI or whoever they are now.
2. Adelphia.
Both of those companies smell like yesterday's fish. Too bad the MCI bunch has control of a large bundle of the backbone.
It would be nice for the entire story to come out. Hopefully, if it blocked other systems such as Yahoo, etc., then we will hear something.

I haven't seen any big news kicking around about it yet, but I am sure it will rear it's head. Too many people and too many different problems were related to this..

I just want to make an observation that I see all these people calling their cable companies when there was no internet connectivity issue. I can see why cable companies want to charge
Vonage
users a seperate fee. It costs a lot of money for companies to field customer service calls and they are fielding calls for another company for free.
You bet a new fee will be added to our tabs in the near future. It's our own doing in some ways.
Regards,

Regards,
Actually, there WAS an internet connectivity issue, and since my connectivity is from my ISP, why wouldn't I call them? If it affected my
Vonage
connection, messengers, and certain sites, of course I am calling my ISP.
