Quality of Service is very important to
Voip

Voip
would be imposible with all the p2p downloading and uploading that they do. i use a 300 mhz linux computer as my gateway, so if interested, ill post details.

I am looking at doing something similar and would like to see the details. Do you use tc for this?

Intersting...
I just posted about this exact thing.
How do you compare to
www.itel-ip.com
?
They provide DID's and LNP in all NFL cities plus a few more. They deliver in privite circuits (DSL, T1's) from their data center to the customer premise.
The Asterisk guys love them becuase they can support T.38 (faxing) and it knocks out having to use a gateway (thousands in $$$).
Oh yeah, and of course theres the whole QoS thing, which I totally agree with you on...
