Post subject: What's the latest on firmware 1.00.55 for the 300.
When
Vonage
upgraded me to .52 it caused voicemail problems and caller id/call waiting issues. They rolled me back to .50 and that 'pretty much' took care of the problem.
I was told by
Vonage
that .55 was to come out last Friday, 10/21, but it did not. I read somewhere on this forum they pushed out .55 until today. Anyone else know what's up with the firmware. Based on my conversation with
Vonage
tech support it seems there are bugs they are working out and it explains my issues.

The last I heard was "Friday", which usually means sometime over the weekend. I just power cycled my terminal adapter & it's still showing 1.00.52 and isn't trying to download a new firmware version. 1.00.52's working fine for me now, even CallerID works.

Same here...
I am on hold for tech support (looks like they now tell you how long the wait will be) and will let you know what they say.

Tech support person I had was non-committal on when .55 will be released but did say that there were some problems so it was delayed. He refused to roll me back to .50.
Ref to incoming CID- he told to be patient, the know about it and are working on it. Kinda like the optimum online commercials (sorry if you dont live in the northeast, actually you arent missing much) that make fun of DSL having the DSL tech "we're working on it".

Its been ready for 2 weeks .. QA is holding it.
They are upgrading thier configuration servers and the new firmware is located on the new server. Once the new config is out the firmware will be out, to be honest, I would not expect it for at least another week

That's bad news. Any way I can get bumped back to 1.00.50? I can't deal with the .52 bugs anymore.

That's pretty ridiculous, considering the importance of Caller ID to many people, myself included. Someone said that he thought
Vonage
would start losing customers, and I'm afraid he's right.

OMG. That's a DANG frivolous reason to hold back an update!
