I have been a Vonage customer now for almost 3 years. A year and a half ago I left USA and moved to Canada. I kept my Vonage number and added a Canadian number to my account. I decided I wanted to stay with Vonage USA over Vonage Canada, because I save a few extra dollars a month, and Vonage Canada was going through some growing pains. They also do not have 911 service working in Vonage Canada. Although I have had zero problem with my Vonage account, I do miss the 911 security feature. I have programmed all the local emergency numbers into my phone, but I have small children that get brainwashed at school for 911. I was wondering if anyone had a solution that would allow my small children to be able to use 911. For example some phone that would allow 911 to forward to a different number, or ran a small program, presss 1 for fire, 2 for ambulance, 3 for there is an axe murderer in your living room. If anyone from Vonage reads this... WHEN IS 911 GOING TO WORK UP HERE?
If you do post a response, please remember the only solutions I can install must be child 4.0 year compatable.

911 has been working here in Canada since last Spring..
so make teh switch over, and you shoudl be good to go they should probably let you keep your numbers, just swap the virtual and main numbers around.. **** having to pay more I know, but if you want 911, it's available..
