What?

Vonage does not charge incoming calls against you, unless you have a toll free number from them.

If you are being charged for incoming calls there is something wrong.


Also, you can sign up for the national "Do not call" list to help reduce telemarketing calls.

What?

Too bad I can't paste an image of my screen here. I have several 1 minute calls (Anonymous, calls I don't answer, etc.). I never go above the plan minutes so this isn't an issue for me (at this time).

On your "Billing" page, does it show these calls being charged against your 500 minutes?
I'm not referring to the "Dashboard" or "Activity" pages. These will show incoming and outgoing calls. I'm referring specifically to the "Billing" page.

You are correct, I calculated manually and they don't show on the billing. In fact, my total for outgoing calls was slightly higher than the total that was on the billing section.

I agree. It would be nice to have call intercept to prevent people from calling if they dont have a valid callerID or if they block their ID.

I'd also be interested in seeing the numbers of placed calls from my Vonage system.

Well as for me personally, I am looking for another provider simply because Vonage has had more than enough time to implement this feature. I don't care about "teaching Vonage a lesson" or anything like that. I just want what I want and I want it NOW!!!!

Apparently, they are overloaded due to their immense success. If that's the case then you (or a few more) won't make much difference. But give them a little more time since they apparently hired new employees.

Hope those jobs are in the US.

This is a new constantly evolving service that is going to offer the features that you want. Give it time…As with any cutting edge technology you have to be patient. This feature isn’t all that Vonage is working on and it is unreasonable to state that they have had enough time. I can assure you that they are not sitting on their thumbs letting everyone pass them by. They will come out with some new features and then their competitors will come up with something new. There is something to be said about loyalty though. Bouncing around like a Voip tramp won’t get you anywhere. The grass is never greener on the other side.
