Call or e-mail Vonage and let them know that you're very interested in having this feature availble to you. I e-mailed them and told them that ACR was the one feature that I REALLY missed from my BellSouth service. They replied to my e-mail, but didn't give any indication as to when or if they might be adding it. The more requests/questions they get about a particular service that they don't have, the more likely they are to add it in the future. If they get enough people asking about it, it might get added sooner rather than later!

Just my 2 cents.

No time table on that.

Hey JScott, I think we are trying to find out if Vonage is looking at it at all, if Vonage is working on it, etc. to see if we should ever expect it. Other Voip co's have this feature. It is naive for Vonage to think they will stay #1 forever if they aren't in touch with these features.

Nova Rod (tired of getting "no time table on that" answers) Sad

AT&T Callvantage has it. Vonage is lacking.

True, but it's $1.99. From the ATT web site:
Code:

CALL FILTERING
Call Filtering lets you filter calls based on who is calling. You can send calls directly to voicemail or block them entirely for $1.99 a month per line number.

So for $6.99 more per month ($29.99 + $1.99 vs $24.99) you could have this feature.

Of course, you'd lose 7 digit dialing and ATT does not provide virtual numbers as an option.

ATT does have virtual numbers (called simple reach numbers). They're $4.99, but without the $10 setup fee that Vonage charges.

I can't believe Vonage doesn't have this feature! That really sux. If they still don't have it early in 2005, I will likely begin to seek out another provider for Voip. Its ashame, as I like my Vonage service, but this is a VERY important feature to me.

Yep. The activity log is setup so that you get caller ID for "received calls", but not "placed call". Both would be better.

This would be outstanding.
