I'm in Michigan but am building a house in Riverview Florida. I want to sign up with Vonage today and start off with a Riverview FL phone number. I'm pretty sure it's an 813 area code. Does anyone know for sure and also which 813 area code I should pick? There is Plant city, Tampa, Tampa Central, Tampa East, and Tampa south.

As far as I know, since the 813/727 split, all of area code 813 is local to each other.

I live in Riverview, FL but I ported my number over. When I first chose my Vonage number I chose Tampa Central. It really would be Tampa East but I wanted a Tampa Central number. You can choose between Tampa, Tampa Central, Tampa East, and Tampa South. Plant City is 45 minutes away, you dont want that.

Also I reccomend you getting Verizon FiOS internet as it is available in most of Riverview. It is cheaper then Brighhouse Networks RoadRunner service. Faster too with speeds up to 30/5.

Thanks guys. I can't wait until we get there. It's getting cold here, I was hoping not to be here for another winter.

I can't believe how the prices in Riverview are going crazy... It's nuts.

It's cold down here too! Was down around 40F (9c for our international crowd), which is very cold for us. My heat didn't come on yet, but I think it probably will this week. Welcome to the state!

Yep. Here in Riverview when I got up at 7:30am it said 49 on the thermometer. I broke out the goose down jacket for my morning smoke. Brr.
