The company that I work for recently bought a software package called CETA (Collaboration Environment Testing & Analysis). It has a great bandwidth tester included. It is a point to point tester, so it gives the ACTUAL amount of bandwidth available, especially as it pertains to all Voip products.
It also works with several DoD collaboration software platforms, including Defense Collaboration Tool Suite (DCTS), Ezenia's InfoWorkSpace (IWS), First Virtual Conference Servers, WebEx, Groove, IBM Lotus Notes and several more.
Do you want a Bandwidth Test or a Speed Test? There is a difference. I prefer http://www.dslreports.com/stest for the speed test and http://www.2wire.com using the "Speed Meter" link at the top of the page for an actual Bandwidth test.
