i'm having a big issue with calls dropped. Its driving us crazy. Any suggestions?

Have you run a test at www.testyourvoip.com? How did it look? What's your configuration?

I'm having the exact same issues with the same router. I have been surfing the net for hours trying to figure it out. Evil or Very Mad
I have emailed Vonage yesterday and linksys today. I hope to get a decent response. All I can say is they better replace the router I have if it is defective or I'm going to use another Voip service.

Please visit www.testyourvoip.com and post your detailed results so that someone here can try to help you.

I own this same router and I have never had a call drop on me.

I can only assume that you did not get your router from Vonage since they do not supply that router. I will assume that you purchased it at a retail establishment. So, why would you expect Vonage to replace it? As far as I know they do not even stock those devices. They are purely retail. I do believe that Linksys should be able to replace that router for you. However, I would not rely on email. I would call Linksys and speak to someone about the router. Email just doesn't seem to get it done with CS.

As for my configuration:
- Motorola SB42220 as Broadband Modem from comcast
- Connected to WRT54GP2
- On the WRT54GP2, i have the following configuration:
- Broadcast disabled, WEP 128,
- I have wireless & wired devices (only 1 or 2 at any one point)
- WRT54GP2 Phone 1 port to Leviton Panel to whole house, I have one phone, AT&T model 5840 with 2 handsets, its a 5.8Mhz)

I did go to the www.testyourvoip.com and here are the results:

I'm having similar problems and ran this although I have no idea what it means..I have a Linksys RT31P2 Router from Vonage. I can hear callers perfect but they cannot hear me or say it is cutting out and/or garbled very bad. Help, please!!
