Jayjay, turn your CAPS off.
When you login ot the WRT via the web browser, what IP is on the first page for it? What IP do you log into to get to the web browser? |

sorry for the CAPS switched on thx for your reply navydavy When i log in it shows as using dhcp and router ip is 198.162.15.1 it starts assigning ip addresses from 198.162.15.100 if i go into setup and local network, and click on dhcp client table it only shows me the ip addreses of the clients (pcs) connected to the router and no ip address for its own ATA part does it mean that the ATA ip address is the same as the router i,e, 198.162.15.1?? or does the router assign the fisrt available ip like 198.162.15.100 i am just not sure how does the router assign the IP address to the ATA part??? do u know how can i get my ATA give its ip address either thru pc or thru my regular phone..thx |

The solution to your problem could be enabling out bound proxy or stun server configuration.
You can ask the ITSP for a stun server address.
Edit: Sorry I have posted it a bit late. it was for the post just below mine previously |

Weird...I have WRT54G up front with the PAP2 internal to the private network...everything works great and no port forwarding (or any configuration changes whatsoever). Firewall is on, Anon internet requests blocked, etc .. Truely plug and play. Why all the port forwarding ?? |
